    Hello loves!

As I write from a quaint coffee shop in Astoria, Queens, I am just overwhelmed with gratitude for the past year of transformation. Within my 27 years here on earth, 2012 truly shifted me into my higher self on every level. From professional, social activism, love, family, friends, spirituality, financial, adventure, and home life, I have shifted towards my greater vision.

2012 started with an intent to serve my community, find my voice, be open to new relationships, and live beyond my wildest dreams… Needless to say, all of that and more came alive. In review, the past year provided me with the opportunity to connect with a budding conscious lifestyle community and grow an award winning vegan blog. My portfolio filled with over 12 projects within conscious consumerism that have allowed me to sharpen my skills, harness my craft, and find my unique spark. I began public speaking with my first event being Zappo’s Delivering Happiness Inspire. To this day, people were still coming up to me seven months after telling me they heard my talk and support my mission. I also found my voice in activism from handing out positive affirmations at Build a Greener Block, to creating and managing social media for Vegas Roots Community Garden, selling vegan cupcakes to save animals lives with Vegas Veg, support the growth of the Downtown Food Jelly, to becoming a core team member of The Reset Project managing social media, co-creating branding, and speaking at monthly events about becoming a conscious eater. I was introduced to the concept of co-working, how-to build a community and develop new concepts. On a personal note, I became open again to dating and found such special people who opened my heart to new spaces that I am so grateful for. Lastly, I finally had the courage to launch my personal brand and personal blog which I had always dreamed of and was so scared to do in the past. It was in Las Vegas where I truly found what I really stood for, what I truly wanted out of life, and how I was going to spread my message.

The year also provided me with opportunities for facing my biggest fears, working through self-doubt, opening my soul, and opportunities to speak my truth even when my voice shakes. I had times of biting off all of my nails with stress, tears of ‘what the f#ck is going on’, and bursts of disbelief… Thankfully, in all of those times I received a phone call from an inspiring friend, email with a job offer, confirmation of the value of my work, or simple come across a vibrant smile from a stranger. Thankfully, I was able to re-connect to my center in order to move forward.

The last three months of 2012 provided the most powerful shift of all. At the end of October after turning my two week visit into a life move back to New York City, I’ve been in amazement to see how everything is falling into place. I had a feeling there was a juicy, mouth-watering adventure ahead for me a few months ago but honestly had NO IDEA where the divine would have brought me here.

I’m happy to report back that I truly found my voice and had the courage to take that last leap of faith to really move my mission to the next level. I found a really awesome job in Manhattan working for an organic, vegan company. Each day, I get to talk to people about the benefits of adding plant-based choices into their lives and the amazing experience of living vegan. It’s the PERFECT way for me to get back into the flow here and talk about my passion. I am also growing my consulting business with really exciting opportunities on the rise, taking classes on how to grow an online business, blogging with Vegan Consultant, and growing my Chinese language skills.

Then to top off 2012, I just moved to Astoria, Queens to live on a ground-breaking eco, urban farm which is AWESOME. There is organic kale growing on the roof!! We use solar panels, there are bee hives, chickens, and green houses. The landlord and my roommates are all into eco living and are veg-friendly. I couldn’t have asked for more and it’s amazing the power of manifestation that I was able to attract this into my life.

The biggest take away for me in 2012 was the power of having faith, listening to your heart, and taking action anywhere you can to achieve your goals, also knowing anything is possible!

Now moving forward for new adventures in 2013, I’ve been manifesting and tuning into the vibe I am seeking in the new year. After many of deep thoughts over vegan cake, soy lattes, and long walks around NYC… I completed my 13 intents for 2013. Here they are…

    My 13 intents for 2013!

    2. Be in flow, grow, and stay true to myself.
